Fire in built environment

A fire broke out early Friday at a recycling plant in Diavata, on the outskirts of Thessaloniki, authorities said.The blaze began around 5 a.m. in the facility’s outdoor area, according to local media.Six fire engines and 12 firefighters were deployed to contain the flames, the Fire Service said. There were no immediate reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
