A street in an East Lothian coastal town has been closed after a huge sinkhole appeared following a breach in the sea wall.Council workers have been battling in "extremely challenging" weather conditions since Friday to fill the huge cavern on Lamer Street in Dunbar.The road is closed and fenced off while repair work is carried out.The section of street affected is slightly further along from where a previous sinkhole appeared in 2023.An East Lothian spokesman told BBC Scotland: "Despite extremely challenging weather conditions, work to backfill the area affected has been taking place and further progress is expected to be made with this in the coming days, weather and tidal conditions permitting."We are grateful to local residents for their patience and understanding."
