The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) notified the NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator (SSC) of a 31-foot pleasure craft stranded on a riprap shoreline at Point Chauncey in San Francisco Bay. The USCG is concerned the vessel may break up before it can be salvaged. The owner reported there were approximately 20 gallons of fuel on board. Fuel capacity is 80 gallons. The type of fuel is suspected to be diesel, but that has not been confirmed. No additional support requested at this time.
