A fire that led to the evacuation of several homes and a synagogue in north London is not thought to have been started deliberately, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said.Three people were treated at the scene on Cazenove Road in Stamford Hill for the effects of smoke inhalation, two of whom were taken to hospital for further assessment.About 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were called to the three-storey terraced home at around 16:15 BST.The LFB's Andy Pennick said the fire was under control, and crews would remain on site into the evening. The Metropolitan Police said earlier that an investigation was in its early stages and officers were keeping an open mind as to the cause of the fire. The force added: "Given the location of the fire and proximity to the synagogue, there will undoubtedly be community concern."People are still being advised to avoid the area while firefighters remain on site, and police said officers would be available to speak to any concerned residents or the wider community.
