8000 meters of illegal fishing nets were removed from Lake Son-Kul. This information was provided by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan.
Employees of the state enterprise "Son-Kul Fishery" together with the police from the Ak-Tal and Jumgal districts conducted raids aimed at improving the ecological situation and protecting the fish resources of the region.
During the event, the water area of the lake was cleared of illegally installed synthetic fishing nets, which contributed to the restoration of the ecosystem and prevented further damage to water resources.
