On July 12, around 20:30, a mudslide occurred in the At-Bashinsky district, triggered by a brief heavy rain. This information was received from the Naryn regional emergency management office.
The natural disaster took place in the riverbed (sai) between the villages of Bash-Kayindy and Acha-Kayindy. As a result of the incident, one citizen who was in a vehicle swept away by the mudflow was successfully rescued and evacuated. Residential houses were not damaged, and the At-Bashy — Ozgorush highway is open for traffic in both directions, indicating the complete restoration of transportation links.
It is also reported that the road and bridge in this area remained undamaged.
