At around 02:00 AM, due to heavy rains, mudflows occurred in the Nooken district, flooding several residential houses and social facilities. According to information received from the presidential representative in the region, the deputy head of the region, Islambek Uvaidullaev, held a meeting of the operational headquarters to address the emerging issues. He instructed the heads of relevant institutions and enterprises to eliminate the consequences of the flooding and ensure the safety of the population, as well as to assess the damage caused.
According to preliminary data, the mudflows affected the yards of 466 residential houses. Water flooded 76 houses and also entered the basements of three residential buildings.
In the flood zone, there were also 1 kindergarten, 1 mosque, 4 food establishments, 5 auto repair shops, and 2 car washes.
