Five people were killed and two others injured on Sunday when a car carrying seven passengers veered off a road and plunged into a ravine in Türkiye's southern province of Antalya, local media reported.
The incident occurred along the Tasagil-Derebucak road in the Beydigin neighborhood of the Manavgat district, according to Turkey Today, News.Az reports, citing Xinhua.Emergency teams, including medical personnel, firefighters, gendarmerie forces, and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, were dispatched to the scene after witnesses reported the incident.Rescue workers recovered five bodies from the wreckage, while the two injured were airlifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital.Antalya Governor Hulusi Sahin confirmed that seven people were in the vehicle at the time of the incident, adding that one of the injured is pregnant.
