Around 70 firefighters battled a fire at a warehouse on Alperton Lane, in Wembley today, after part of the ground floor of a two-storey warehouse caught alight.
London Fire Brigade's control officers received the first of 13 calls alerting them to the fire at 2.47pm. They mobilised crews from Wembley, Acton, Northolt and Southall fire stations who remain in attendance.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
The fire was deemed to be under control as of 6.24pm, and the scene was secured.
