All train lanes between Reading and London are closed for hours amid an emergency services incident between the stations.
This temporary closure was announced shortly after 11.30am this morning (Monday, September 7) by Great Western Railway (GWR).
Several Oxfordshire to London trains and vice versa pass through Reading, meaning multiple connections have been cancelled or delayed this morning.
A statement from the train service on the social media site X said: "Travel update.
"Due to a road vehicle colliding with a bridge between Reading and London Paddington, the line is blocked.
"Train services running to and from these stations may be delayed.
"Disruption is expected until 12:30
"Check your journey online and follow us for updates."
