Firefighters responded to an apartment fire in southwest Harris County on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.
The Community Volunteer Fire Department said that crews responded at about 4:30 p.m. to the 2-alarm fire at the West Oaks Landing Apartments, located in the 15200 block of Gray Ridge Drive near Addicks Clodine Road.
Officials advised the public to avoid the area to allow emergency crews to work.
Authorities told ABC13 that there were no reported injuries, adding that one firefighter was treated for heat-related issues but is now OK.
Fire crews said the second floor of the building partially collapsed from the fire, along with parts of the exterior. Authorities said multiple people will be displaced due to the damage.
Officials said the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office will investigate the cause of the fire.
ABC13 crews were at the scene on Sunday afternoon, capturing images of firefighters putting out the blaze.
