A fire broke out at an oil depot in Russia's Rostov region close to the village of Molodezhny in the Kamensky district, Russian Telegram channels reported early on August 28. Reports said a strong explosion occurred before the fire. Regional Governor Vasily Golubev said on Telegram that four drones were downed in Rostov, but did not mention any fire. The Baza Telegram channel, which is close to Russia's intelligence establishment, said debris from two drones ignited a fire at three storage tanks in the Kamensky district. In the Voronezh region, Governor Aleksandr Gusev reported a fire "near explosive objects," likely an ammunition depot. Two settlements were evacuated.
