Twelve civilians, including two children, were injured in a large-scale overnight drone attack on Russia's Belgorod region, local authorities said early Monday.In a statement posted on the Russian social media platform Max, the Belgorod region's operational headquarters said a woman who suffered a shrapnel wound to her temple received medical treatment at the scene, News.Az reports, citing TASS.The remaining injured victims were transported to hospitals by ambulance crews, where they are receiving medical care, the statement said.According to local authorities, several apartments in a residential building and more than 15 parked vehicles caught fire in the city as a result of the attack.Firefighters later brought the fires under control, while a private home was partially destroyed and several apartment buildings sustained damage.Officials said assessments of the full extent of the damage are still ongoing.
