One citizen was killed and four soldiers injured on Monday in an Israeli drone strike on a civilian car in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese army sources.The Israeli army targeted a car on the Saf al-Hawa road in Bint Jbeil, near a checkpoint belonging to the Lebanese army in the central sector of the border area, leading to the casualties, the Lebanese army said in a statement on social media platform X.A source in the Lebanese Red Cross told Xinhua that its team transferred the casualties to the Bint Jbeil Governmental Hospital.Meanwhile, a Lebanese military source told Xinhua that the Israeli army blew up dozens of houses Monday morning in the town of Khiam, the municipality of Yaroun, and the village of Kafr Kila, east of southern Lebanon."The Israeli army also fired heavy machine gun bursts towards the outskirts of the town of Naqoura, west of southern Lebanon," the source said.So far, the Israeli army has not commented on the attacks, which occurred during an Israel-Lebanon ceasefire that took effect on Nov. 27.
