A gas leak has caused a road in Rio Rancho to be closed in both directions. The closure happened at 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, April 23.
Golf Course Road is closed as crews are responding to a leaking gas. Traffic is being diverted for both north and southbound traffic lanes.
Northbound traffic is being diverted to Chianti Road. Southbound lanes are being diverted onto May Circle, according to Rio Rancho police.
Update: The closure at Golf Course Road is over. Rio Rancho police said Sue Circle will remain closed for repairs.
