One person was found dead after a fire at an apartment complex this afternoon, according to a Clark County news release.
Fire crews responded to reports of a fire at an apartment building at 3800 Wynn Road at about 3 p.m. They found smoke coming from a first-floor window, the release stated.
Within minutes, crews had water on the fire and were conducting a search of the unit, where they found the deceased person.
No other units were affects and no other residents displaced, the release stated. The fire is still under investigation. Metro Police and NV Energy are assisting at the scene.
