Fire in built environment

A young woman died in a fire that broke out during the night in a bed and breakfast in Piazza Municipio, in the center of Naples.
The fire broke out on the seventh floor of the building, before 5am, with the outside of the apartment appearing completely blackened by smoke.
Firefighters and law enforcement officers arrived on site and began the investigation.
The victim is a 28-year-old originally from Puglia, Emanuela Chirilli, who was in the Campania capital for tourism : it seems that a short circuit in the sauna of the room where she was staying started the fire, perhaps due to the malfunction of a power strip.
The administrative regularity of the structure is also being investigated, but the Councilor for Tourism of the Municipality of Naples, Teresa Armato, reports that "our offices immediately verified the full regularity of the holiday home in which the tragedy occurred."
