One home has been destroyed, and several more buildings have been gutted by a New Year's Day bushfire that devastated a community in Perth's east.
Arson Squad Detectives were seen combing the fireground on Thursday morning, as the fire continues to burn out of control in the semi-rural communities of The Lakes, Woottating and Wooroloo.
Aerial vision shows damage widespread across the area, with the fire ruining one home, machinery, sheds as well as power and agricultural infrastructure.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) commissioner Darren Klemm said the home was unoccupied at the time, and the owners were overseas.
"Another five non-residential buildings, which include sheds, greenhouses and machinery that was within those sheds have also been destroyed," he said.
"Other properties within the vicinity of these have been saved.
"Another 24 properties and infrastructure have been assessed and have either minor damage or no damage."
The fire is stationary and has been downgraded to a Watch and Act alert, as favourable weather aids firefighting efforts.

Investigation into fire cause
It has burnt through 726 hectares since it began on Wednesday afternoon, quickly racing through open paddocks, fanned by strong winds and temperatures nearing 40 degrees Celsius.
A firefighter also suffered minor burns, and the blaze burned just several hundred metres from the medium-security Acacia Prison.
DFES deputy commissioner Craig Waters said it was unclear how the fire started.
"But we have had a series of fires start up there so we had the arson squad and our own fire investigators up there to try and determine the cause," he told the ABC Country Hour.
An evacuation centre for affected residents remains open at the Northam Recreation Centre.
Almost 150 people are without electricity in the area.

Albany fire emergency
Meanwhile, another fire has closed a major highway in WA's Great Southern region.
The Green Range fire was upgraded to an emergency warning alert on Thursday afternoon, as hot and windy conditions intensify the blaze.
It is burning in a rural area about an hour's drive north-east of Albany and has closed the South Coast Highway.
It was sparked by lightning and has burnt through 550 hectares, but there are no reports of damage.
Commissioner Klemm said the region had experienced dry conditions for much of the past year.
Some towns in the region have forecast maximum temperatures of beyond 40C today.
"There's extremely warm conditions down there today, particularly for so far south," he said at a media conference about 1:30pm local time.
"The fire has been in a blue gum plantation, which is really problematic for firies to get in and put out.
Western Power said almost 350 customers in the area were without power.
Albany chief bushfire control officer Rob Lynn said changes in the wind direction was making it difficult for firefighters.
"We have concerns that might go into the Bremer Bay area and of course, as we know, there are a lot of visitors to the region at this time of year."

Kwinana fire
Another bushfire is burning in Perth's southern suburbs, shutting a major east-west road and causing traffic jams on the Kwinana Freeway.
A Watch and Act alert is current for the fire in the City of Kwinana burning near the Thomas Road freeway interchange.
The eastbound lanes of Thomas Road west of the freeway is shut.
