Three people were injured and nine were displaced Sunday morning after a heavy fire broke out at a Fayetteville home.
It happened in the 1000 block of Tammy Street around 8:30 a.m. This is off Murchison Road near I-295.
The single-story residence is a "total loss," Fayetteville Assistant Fire Chief Michael Autry said.
Firefighters rescued one person found inside the home. They sustained serious injuries and were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Two others were injured and taken to Cape Fear Valley but were outside the home when first responders arrived.
Fayetteville Fire Department has not released the names of those injured. Their conditions are also unknown.
FFD is working to determine the cause of the fire.
