Collapse of built environment

A massive tragedy has struck the sacred temple town of Bhadrachalam. An under-construction six-story building collapsed near the Super Bazar in the Panchayat Office area in Bhadrachalam, leaving six labourers dead and several injured. The deceased were working on the construction site.Shocked by the terrible mishap, nearby residents rushed into their homes out of fear. Cops were informed by the passersby, and rescue operations are currently underway. Several labourers are believed to be buried under the debris, and efforts are on to rescue them alive with the help of proclainers.Police are probing the incident to determine the cause of the catastrophe. The builder and construction engineers have been summoned for investigation. More details about the incident are awaited.
