Fire in built environment

Six people were taken to the hospital early Thursday morning after a small residential fire in Centennial, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.Fire officials said crews responded to the fire at the 6000 block of South Oneida around 2:30 a.m.Four people were removed from the home, and most of the fire was knocked down around 2:55 a.m., fire officials said.After the fire was reported all clear, crews reportedly searched the first floor of the home and ensured that the electricity was cut off.The cause is under investigation, fire crews said.
